Your Crave devices are a key feature of your guest rooms and guest experiences, hence keeping devices fully clean and operational makes all the difference.
Regular troubleshooting of rooms during housekeeping procedures is an excellent way to keep on top of any devices that may be displaying issues.
If you suspect a devices behaviour to be abnormal, this could be a software related issue. Software issues are usually minor and can be fixed fairly quickly with minimal effort required.
Software Faults Can Include:
- Device stuck on Crave loading screen.
- Wi-Fi connectivity issues
- Content such as images not appearing
- Room number not available
- 'Crave emenu not installed'
The first step in resolving a possible software issue is to determine the nature of the issue itself.
Inspect the behaviour the device is displaying, if there is a possible software issue present, you may notice some of the following behaviours;
- Images are not pulling through onto the device.
- The theme and some colours of the device look incorrect, missing, transparent or dark grey in colour.
- The device is stuck on one loading screen
- The device has no emenu installed and won't load correctly.
