Using a Crave Specific & Hidden SSID
Creating a hidden, Crave specific SSID is preferred practice and has many benefits.
Using a Crave specific SSID can give greater security to the network and by keeping only Crave devices on this network means work can be done without disrupting the rest of the properties Wi-Fi.
Using a hidden SSID will limit any possible guest frustrations if they attempt to connect to the network with their own personal devices.
SSID Required Coverage
The Crave SSID should cover all guest rooms with sufficient signal quality for a stable connection (-80db minimum).
In addition to this, the Crave SSID should be available in all areas of the hotel, including back of house locations where the Crave Consoles may be installed such as the spa, bar area, kitchen and front desk.
