AppLess Themes

This section will explain how AppLess themes are made, applied and what colours control what areas of the solution.

What is an AppLess Theme?

An AppLess theme is a selection of hexcodes that control the colours of different sections of your mobile solution.

An AppLess theme controls the Primary Colour, Text Colour, Page Background Colour, Divider Colour and Signal Colour.

These help establish brand identity within your pages.

Creating and Adjusting Themes

Themes can be created and updated within the 'Themes' tab in the AppLess configuration. These can be created with the 'Add' button or adjusted with the pen and paper icon.

You will need to enter a 6 digit hex code for each area of the AppLess theme. The 3 main colours to ensure are set are the Primary, Text and Page Background colours as these are the most noticeable when using the solution.

It is important to ensure that when selecting these colours page text is still clearly legible.

Applying AppLess Themes

AppLess themes are assigned on a page by page basis and hence will need to be applied to each page individually.

To apply your AppLess theme, you will need to navigate to the 'Pages' tab within the AppLess configuration and open the page you need using the pen and paper icon. Select your theme from the theme drop down and press save to apply.
