Find where your basic company information is located in the CMS and how to update items like property address, system settings, cultures and currencies.
The generic tab holds the majority of your basic company information including the property address. This information is used to gather your correct time zone and location for the clock and weather widget information.
The generic tab also holds the company name information in the system alongside company default settings such as default currency and language cultures.
If any changes are made in the CMS, the save button at the top of the page will turn red, indicating changes need to be saved before exiting.
The advanced tab holds fields concerning system security and formatting preferences. The key items under this section include the company level pin codes and system password which are set to prevent guests accessing the device's back-end.
Preferences include tick boxes such as pricing to include taxes and whether currency symbols are to show or not.
Changes made inside the company settings affect all devices across all DPGs.
If your property wants to offer guests pricing in multiple currencies, this can be set within the company section of the CMS under the Currencies tab. You can select as many currencies as you wish by finding the currency you need and selecting the tick box.
If your property wants to offer and create content in English and another language, this can be selected within the Cultures tab. Similar to currencies, you can select your language of choice by ticking the tick box. This option once saved will appear as an option within a Language Picker widget.
The image tab within your company details is where gallery images and placeholder images sit. If you want to avoid having empty image spaces on your Crave solution but don't have enough images to fill, a placeholder image is a great idea.
When images are added to the gallery they appear within the images tab also. Gallery images are used almost exclusively for message templates & scheduled messages.
To add new images to the gallery, click Image Gallery in the navigation menu.
To add a placeholder, click on Add, choose your image from your computer and select the boxes named placeholder. Upon saving and restarting devices this image will populate empty spaces on your devices.
