Schedules


This section will explain how schedules work in the CMS, how to make them, edit them, and apply them to products and categories.

What are Schedules?

Schedules can be made and assigned to products to control when a guest is able to order or request them.

Schedules are assigned to orderable products or service items such as F&B items, spa services and housekeeping requests.

Schedules are useful for preventing guests requesting or ordering items at unsuitable times. For example, you can create a breakfast schedule and apply to your breakfast items to prevent someone ordering these products in the evening.

Creating Schedules

Schedules can be created in the CMS by navigating to Menu Management -> Schedules

Schedules can be set to the same days for all days of the week using the top line, or be adjusted for different days of the week by entering the times for each day specifically.

Schedules operate in 24 hour, military time and hence need to be inputted in that way.

Once saved this schedule can be applied to individual products or categories.


Applying Schedules

Once your schedule has been created for its purpose, it will appear within 'Schedule' drop down fields within product and category pages.

To apply a schedule, find the product or category you wish to apply it to and open it using the pencil and paper icon. Locate the schedule field within the advanced tab and your schedule will appear in the list.

When applying a schedule to a category, all products and subcategories will also inherit that schedule and automatically apply it.
