AppLess Configuration Overview

This section will explore what the AppLess configuration main page contains and how to navigate through mobile-specific adjustments.

What is the AppLess Configuration?

Your AppLess configuration menu is the central location for all your mobile specific settings.

Your AppLess configuration menu gives you access to your pages, the theming of these pages, navigation menus and the checkout process for each page.

Any changes you need to make that aren't standard menu based changes are likely to be made within the AppLess configuration menu for mobile solutions.

AppLess Config

Appless General

Generic Information

The generic tab contains standard solution-wide settings that will affect all pages created.

The generic tab is rarely needing to be adjusted however it does contain important selections such as 'Responsive Mode' which allows your solution to also work on larger screens.

Other settings include setting the default page, product swiping and enabling a cookie wall.

If you are looking to make your solution 'Responsive' it is worth discussing this with Crave support is it may drastically change the appearance of your solution.

AppLess Icon & Themes

The 'Icon' tab contains a single square image space where you can upload your logomark. This Icon image will only appear in browser tabs and does not affect the experience on mobile.

AppLess themes can be created and adjusted under the 'Themes' tab and dictate the key colours of your mobile solution. These colours include the background colour, the primary colour of the app and text colours.

Different themes can be created and added on a page by page basis if you wish for some pages to have alternate theming.

AppLess Pages

Your AppLess pages are the screens your guests or users will see once they open the link or scan the QR code you present to them.

There will always be a default landing page however additional pages can be made to better structure the solutions flow and navigation.

Pages can hold a variety of widgets including buttons, carousels, language switchers, hero images and more to create a visually appealing and curated experience.

Navigation Menus

Navigation menus are accessible by tapping on the 'Hamburger' menu icon in the top corner of your solution and act as a quick link list for users to easily navigate from one page to another.

Navigation menus can be created and adjusted within the AppLess configuration and assigned to pages on an individual basis.

These menus will be full screen on mobile and will appear in the primary colour.
